What is processed and why

Location: after permission, your browser supplies GPS coordinates, accuracy and time to display your position and set a route start. Live readings stay in page memory. A coordinate attached to parking is saved on this browser. Requested routes send start/end coordinates to Geoapify.
Search: Geoapify receives the search text or routing endpoints you request, along with network information such as IP address, to return results. Saved places remain in browser storage.
Map: OpenStreetMap tile servers receive IP address, browser request information and the map area viewed when the map loads. This can reveal an approximate area of interest.
Local records: parking notes, level, bay, optional photo and route records you enter stay in this browser using localStorage or IndexedDB. The app does not upload them to an operator database. Photos are resized and re-encoded locally. Device backups and browser behaviour are outside the app’s control.
Hosting: Hostinger processes connection/request information to deliver and protect the site, potentially including IP address, time, requested URL and browser information. Hosting log, backup and retention settings apply. The app’s delete button cannot erase provider logs.
Email: if you send feedback, the operator and email providers receive your address and message to respond and resolve issues. Email is separate from the app. Avoid unnecessary location history and other people’s personal data.

Directory and place-information requests send the selected area coordinates or place identifier to Geoapify. No personal destination recommendations are included.

Navigation and language settings

While navigation is running, automatic rerouting (enabled by default and switchable off) sends the latest suitable GPS coordinate and destination to Geoapify after sustained off-route readings. Automatic retries are limited to three in five minutes with a minimum 30-second interval. Stop navigation to end these requests. Raw GPS readings are not uploaded continuously. The latest reading and route progress are held in page memory only. Your language preference is saved in this browser as ss-language; it is removed by Delete all local app data. Translation files and fonts are hosted with this site. No text is sent to an AI translation service.

Your choices

GPS, parking photos, saving places and recording routes are optional. Denying GPS permits manual map selection and notes. Search needs your query; directions need endpoints. Stop GPS in the app and revoke permission in browser settings. Delete parking or saved places individually, or use Privacy & help → Delete all local app data. Exported route records include entered inspector names and coordinates.

This release has no advertising trackers, analytics SDK, accounts or AI service. It sends no data to an AI provider. A future AI feature would require a separate explanation and choice before sending personal data.

Sharing, transfers and retention

Opening an external map sends your selected destination to that service. Shared links contain destination names and coordinates; recipients can forward them. New links place these values after # so they are not sent in the initial website request. Do not share private places publicly.

Hostinger, Geoapify, OpenStreetMap and email providers may process data outside Malaysia under their arrangements. This is not a Malaysia-only storage claim. The operator is responsible for assessing applicable transfer requirements.

Local records remain until deleted by you or cleared by the browser; there is no automatic sync or guarantee of permanent storage. GPS readings end with the page session unless you deliberately save a point. Provider records follow applicable retention settings and policies. Contact us about operator-held correspondence; retention depends on resolving the request and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Immediate deletion of lawful provider logs or backups is not promised.

Rights and security

You may ask about processing, request access or correction of operator-held data, withdraw consent where applicable, request processing limits and exercise applicable portability rights. Proportionate identity verification may be needed. Local-only records are not accessible to the operator unless you send them. Requests are handled under Malaysian data-protection law and its exceptions. You may contact the Personal Data Protection Commissioner through JPDP.

HTTPS protects transit. Browser storage is not an encrypted private vault; others with access to your device/profile may see it. Material changes update this notice and date. New optional uses will be explained before activation.

Data, sumber dan tujuan

Lokasi: selepas kebenaran anda, pelayar memberikan koordinat GPS, ketepatan dan masa untuk memaparkan lokasi dan menetapkan titik mula. Bacaan langsung berada dalam memori halaman. E-mel: jika anda menghantar maklum balas, pengendali dan penyedia e-mel menerima alamat dan mesej anda untuk menjawab dan menyelesaikan isu. E-mel berasingan daripada aplikasi. Elakkan sejarah lokasi atau data orang lain yang tidak diperlukan.

Permintaan direktori dan maklumat tempat menghantar koordinat kawasan atau pengecam tempat kepada Geoapify. Tiada cadangan destinasi peribadi disertakan.

Navigasi dan tetapan bahasa

Semasa navigasi aktif, pengiraan semula automatik (aktif secara lalai dan boleh dimatikan) menghantar koordinat GPS terkini yang sesuai dan destinasi kepada Geoapify selepas bacaan berterusan menunjukkan anda tersasar. Cubaan automatik dihadkan kepada tiga dalam lima minit dengan sela minimum 30 saat. Hentikan navigasi untuk menamatkan permintaan ini. Bacaan GPS mentah tidak dimuat naik secara berterusan. Pilihan anda

GPS, foto parkir, tempat tersimpan dan rekod laluan adalah pilihan. Tanpa GPS, pemilihan titik peta dan nota masih tersedia. Carian memerlukan teks; laluan memerlukan titik mula dan akhir. Hentikan GPS dalam aplikasi atau tarik balik kebenaran dalam tetapan pelayar. Padam parkir atau tempat secara individu, atau semua data setempat melalui Privacy & help → Delete all local app data. Eksport laluan mengandungi nama pemeriksa dan koordinat yang dimasukkan.

Perkongsian, pemindahan dan penyimpanan

Membuka peta luaran menghantar destinasi kepada perkhidmatan tersebut. Pautan perkongsian mengandungi nama dan koordinat destinasi; penerima boleh mengongsinya semula. Pautan baharu meletakkan nilai selepas # supaya ia tidak dihantar dalam permintaan awal laman. Jangan kongsi tempat persendirian secara umum.

Hostinger, Geoapify, OpenStreetMap dan penyedia e-mel mungkin memproses data di luar Malaysia mengikut aturan masing-masing. Polisi mereka dipautkan di atas. Ini bukan jaminan penyimpanan di Malaysia sahaja. Pengendali bertanggungjawab menilai keperluan pemindahan yang berkenaan.

Rekod setempat kekal sehingga anda memadamkannya atau pelayar mengosongkan storan; tiada penyegerakan automatik atau jaminan kekal. Bacaan GPS tamat bersama sesi halaman kecuali titik yang sengaja disimpan. Rekod penyedia tertakluk pada tetapan dan polisi masing-masing. Hubungi kami mengenai surat-menyurat pengendali; tempoh simpanan bergantung pada penyelesaian permintaan dan kewajipan rekod yang berkenaan. Pemadaman segera log atau sandaran penyedia yang disimpan secara sah tidak dijanjikan.

Hak dan keselamatan

Anda boleh bertanya tentang pemprosesan, meminta akses atau pembetulan data yang dipegang pengendali, menarik balik persetujuan jika berkenaan, meminta had pemprosesan dan menggunakan hak keboleh alihan yang berkenaan. Pengesahan identiti yang bersesuaian mungkin diperlukan. Pengendali tidak boleh mengakses rekod setempat kecuali anda menghantarnya. Permintaan dikendalikan menurut undang-undang Malaysia dan pengecualiannya. Anda juga boleh menghubungi Pesuruhjaya Perlindungan Data Peribadi melalui JPDP.

HTTPS melindungi penghantaran. Storan pelayar bukan peti simpanan peribadi yang disulitkan; orang yang mempunyai akses kepada peranti/profil mungkin dapat melihat rekod. Perubahan penting akan mengemas kini notis dan tarikh. Kegunaan pilihan baharu akan diterangkan sebelum diaktifkan.

The bundled directory is searched on this device. Selecting a mapped destination does not request a route until you ask. Opening DhammaStop sends your normal web request to that site. Searching an unmapped address sends the search text to Geoapify.

Voice guidance · Beta 1.7

Voice guidance is enabled by default and can be muted. Test audio before departure. Supported instructions follow the selected interface language. Speech uses your browser and operating system; an on-device voice matching the selected language is preferred when available. Other system voices may use their provider’s online speech service. No microphone access is requested. A playback event cannot confirm your volume, Bluetooth output or that you heard the announcement. Guidance pauses when the page is hidden.

Beta 1.7: nearby search, transit and optional Google search

Choosing My location for search requests location permission and sends a suitable current coordinate with your query to Geoapify. If location is unavailable, the app visibly identifies the starting-point or map-centre fallback. It does not infer your home. Queries and route progress are not saved as a personal history by this app.

Public transit timetables are downloaded from api.data.gov.my when you use transit features, normally at most once per Malaysian calendar day per browser. The official service receives your IP address and standard request metadata; no GPS coordinates, destination or query is included in these timetable downloads. Public schedules are cached in a separate local IndexedDB database, sampai-transit. A retry timestamp is stored as ss-transit-attempt. Delete all local app data also clears this public cache. Timetable calculations run on your device. Walking connections send their endpoint coordinates to Geoapify when you request a transit journey. Several walking-route requests may be required to compare nearby stops and verify transfers.

Google Maps links open only when tapped and send the search text, selected area or destination in the link. If the operator configures Google Places UI Kit, the optional Google business-search panel loads only after you press Load Google search. Google then receives your query, search area, IP address and normal service metadata under Google Privacy Policy and Google Maps terms. Google cards and attribution remain in its widget. This release does not persist, export or merge those listings into the local directory. Selecting a listing offers an external Google Maps link. If the operator has not configured a Google key, the embedded panel is absent; external search remains available.

Navigation marker animation only interpolates between received GPS readings. It is not a prediction of your location. Routes and voices depend on provider data, your browser and installed voices. A system voice may use the operating-system provider’s online service; on-device voices are preferred.

Carian berdekatan, pengangkutan awam dan carian Google pilihan

Additional business search data

The bundled AllThePlaces directory is searched in your browser. This lookup fetches regional files from Sampai Sini hosting; it does not send your search or GPS coordinates to AllThePlaces. The hosting provider receives ordinary requests including your IP address and requested regional filenames. Existing Geoapify search requests still operate as described above.

Version 1.9 optional requests

Travel-time filtering sends your selected search centre and up to 12 candidate destinations to Geoapify. It uses your existing routing quota. Loading nearby open photos sends the selected destination coordinates and your IP address to Wikimedia; image requests also contact Wikimedia servers. Photos are not loaded until you press the photo button.
